Precision machined from high grade brass & covered by shielding aluminum shroud, & special tools are needed to apply/remove Novent caps. All caps are embossed & color-coded. Proper installation helps stop accidental refrigerant mixing in A/C systems.

Seals standard Schrader service valves on all central A/C units and mini-splits to help prevent refrigerant leakage, Protects from serious injury or death resulting from the inhalation of dangerous gases

  • Corrosion resistant anodized aluminum
  • Integral neoprene O-ring resists oils & sealants
  • Torque limiter prevents overtightening

Novent Caps meet section 1101.10 of the 2009 International Mechanical Code (IMC) and section M1411.6 of the 2009 International Residential Code(IRC) – the requirement of the refrigerant circuit access ports located outdoors to be fitted with locking-type tamper-resistant caps. Recommended for use by EPA Registered & Licensed A/C Technicians only.
